I originally planned to have surgery and didn't want to compare too much, so on the first day I went I paid the reservation deposit (an additional 30,000 KRW for the nasal CT) (About 15 minutes with the counselor? About 10 minutes with the doctor) It was hard to adjust my company schedule, so I asked to cancel. They said it was possible to cancel with 90% refunded, excluding the 50,000 KRW consultation fee. But it felt like they had no intention of actually canceling it and were just stalling. After I asked several times, they sent me a refund request form and said the process would only be handled after I additionally deposited the deduction amount. I transferred the money right away and asked them to contact the card company to request the cancellation, then give me feedback, but there was no contact. At first, because it was a large hospital, I thought I could trust them, but after seeing how late their response was and how little attention they paid after I requested cancellation, I got the feeling that if a problem came up after surgery, I wouldn't be protected. I still plan to have the surgery after adjusting my work schedule, but I definitely want to consult with other hospitals too. I recommend paying the deposit immediately during consultation only if you are prepared to lose at least around 100,000 KRW. If you end up canceling, it becomes extremely stressful.
