It’s been a few weeks since my consultation, but I came back to leave a review because I remembered it. I consulted with Director Oh Seung-il. To get to the point, if you’re someone who wants surgery using cartilage particles, I strongly recommend at least one consultation here. I’ve personally been going around to all the related hospitals since last year because I really wanted nose surgery using the cartilage-particle syringe injection method. Among them, the consultation quality here was the best. The cartilage-particle method doesn’t have as much information as regular nose surgery, and even when there is information, it’s not 100% easy to understand, but here the doctor explains everything for you. During the consultation, he showed PPT images and used cases similar to my nose to make the post-op changes easy to understand, and the nose shape wasn’t artificially over-corrected like a retouched photo. My diagnosis said I would need septal extension as well, so it came out as autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage + septal cartilage, but I liked the virtual design result so I’ll probably do it here. I was also recommended cartilage binding, and being able to recover without a splint even if I do that seems like a really big advantage.
