The doctor was kind and seemed to do their best, but the aftercare part was different from what they said. Because the asymmetry was severe, I understood I'd have to accept some of it, but they had said those parts would improve with a second correction. Then time passed, the tip of my nose dropped a bit and started bending again, so when I asked for AS, they kept putting it off. I understood that it was because my tissue characteristics are like that, but they said things in a way that made it sound like it couldn't get any better. After going back and forth several times, I didn't get AS and had a revision somewhere else this time. And the surgery took, what, 8 hours? Everyone said they'd never seen such a big autologous costal cartilage scar before. As for the nose, I already had it revised anyway, but I really don't know what to do about the autologous costal cartilage scar; it's stressful.
