This was my first nose surgery, so I was very scared of complications, and a acquaintance of mine had done it here and had no complications for years, so I went ahead here. Even when I asked that acquaintance at the time, they recommended it as okay except for the fact that it was a very straight line (At that point.. I should have gone to a place that could have designed it a bit more to match my aesthetic taste.) From a type with just a slight hump and a slightly drooping nose tip, after the CT they said I had enough septal cartilage, so instead of osteotomy for the hump, they would just cover it with 1-2 mm of silicone, and they recommended about 2 mm of fascia for the glabella area, but I preferred a straight-ish line, so I asked them not to raise the glabella. For the tip, I asked them to try their best to raise it so it could come out straight-ish, and because I had rhinitis, I had surgery for both turbinate reduction functionally and cosmetically. Now, about 3 years later, the turbinate reduction is still doing well, so my nose doesn’t get blocked when I sleep because of rhinitis, my nostrils aren’t uneven, my nose isn’t crooked, and I have no complications like contracture. The only issue is the cosmetic side.. From the front, I like that it became a little more projected than before, but from the side, the glabella is high and the tip was never high to begin with, yet because it points downward along a straight line, it ended up becoming a long nose + arrow nose, which is disappointing. It looks pretty only from the front, and from the side I end up wanting to Photoshop the line, so I’m currently looking around for a revision for cosmetic reasons. If it’s a man’s nose, they do well with a straight line, and even with function + aesthetics they produce it conservatively without complications, so I recommend them. But for women, if you prefer a straight-ish or slightly curved line? Then this is definitely not the place. If your ideal look is a straight nose and you prefer something natural, and you do not have a retruded chin, then recommended! They do it well without complications. Or if your ideal is straight-ish but your goal is reconstruction rather than aesthetics, and you just want fewer complications + functional improvement, then I recommend it!
