They set the expected result for surgery far too low, and because the patient's opinion and the realistic surgical aspects did not match, they abruptly ended the consultation and even charged a 10,000 won consultation fee without giving any notice of the surgery cost if the operation were to proceed. Since it is a specialty clinic for ears, I came in with high expectations, but it was not the direction I wanted. They lowered my expectations so much that even being able to return my ears to how they were before surgery was described as success, to the point that I do not even want to attempt revision surgery.. Maybe it's better than just saying it can be done.. It felt like the illusion that surgery would make things better was completely shattered...
