I had it done about 12 years ago. This place had a reputation for being good back then, and my friend had it done here and it turned out naturally and nicely. But I wasn’t happy with mine. The tip drop did improve, but the nose became high and too much like a half-curved shape, and it made the nose look slightly upturned, and my nostrils became uneven. It was my third surgery, and before that my nostrils were symmetrical. They had planned to use ear cartilage, but looking at how stiff my nose is, I think they probably used other materials too.. The columella is also pulled in too much. As time passes, it feels like my nose is getting more and more upturned, so I’m looking into revision surgery. Even so, I haven’t had contracture or any complications for over 10 years.
