I know I’ll probably need a brow lift someday because I open my eyes too much with my forehead, but since I’m in my 20s I thought I should try thread lifting first, so I went for a consultation. The director also recommended surgery. Since my forehead is so strong when I open my eyes, he said it would loosen quickly. I went after only seeing the 8-thread event price, but after the consultation he suggested using 10 threads, 5 on each side. I said I just wanted to do 8 threads, and they didn’t push any further. Since it was thread lifting, I went thinking it would be a simple procedure, but they said I had to be put under sleep anesthesia. I guess it’s like that everywhere..? After I got home and the anesthesia fully wore off, the first 3 days were hell. The headache was insanely bad. And if I frowned even a little, the threads fixed in my scalp would get pulled and it hurt like crazy. Later, maybe because the fixed threads were scraping down through the scalp tissue, whenever I frowned there was a rattling sound and it felt like the threads were scraping inside my scalp;; At first I had completely wide rabbit eyes, then it lasted about a month, but after two months it reset to the way it looked before the procedure. I guess all the threads dissolved. I really regret it. Just getting surgery from the start would have been better. It honestly doesn’t last long and is a waste of money. And the director’s aesthetic sense doesn’t seem that good either.
