When I searched, I found posts about side effects, so I hesitated about whether to go for a consultation. But a friend had it done here and it turned out well, so I went. The consultation focused more on function than aesthetics. They measured my forehead length and said mine was on the long side compared with others, so reducing it by that much would be enough. They also said I tend to open my eyes using my forehead, so a lift was recommended too. After I got home and thought about it, if I only wanted prettier eyes, a lift would be right, but considering the overall proportions, if my eyebrow height went up, the middle third of my face would get longer. After thinking it through, I decided that for my face, I probably didn’t need a lift or a reduction, so I chose not to do it.
