After incisional medial canthoplasty, too much of my lacrimal lake was exposed, and even washing was uncomfortable, which stressed me out. The scar at the inner corner also looked like a fingernail, so I eventually looked into restoration and had surgery with Dr. Lee Min-jae at [Clinic A]. They proceeded with a VY turnover flap technique, aiming to close both sides as sharply as possible by 1.2 mm each. It has already been six months lol. Before, I was constantly bothered by the inner corners of my eyes, but after restoration, the stress about that area has decreased compared with before! Since the discomfort while washing was also a concern, I feel I made the right decision to have the restoration. If anyone is looking into medial canthoplasty restoration, I am leaving this six-month review for reference! I also wrote a review, so look it up if you are curious!!
