Booked a visit after reserving for abdominal liposuction. This hospital had a 10,000 won reservation deposit. I watched all of their YouTube videos because they were so good, then went in. Thanks to that, my expectations were really high. After arriving, I had a basic consultation with the counseling manager, then with the doctor. During the consultation, in addition to abdominal liposuction, I was also advised to do fat grafting for the hip dip area. I was told that because the abdominal skin lacked elasticity, we should do a lifting procedure called Reunuvion at the same time. The doctor was kind and seemed very proud of the work and highly professional. I was tempted and almost actually paid. After the doctor’s consultation, I was getting a quote with the counseling manager, and the cost was honestly brutal. Since I didn’t seem like I was going to pay right away, the manager’s expression was not great, and even I, who had gone in with high expectations, felt my mood drop. When I asked them to整理 the estimate sheet, they just told me to take a photo of the chart. I left after doing that without thinking much of it, but later I consulted two other places, and there they all sent the consultation quotes by KakaoTalk and were so kind. Looking back, I felt dismissed, and that made me think about surgery again. The other clinics said it seemed like I might not need to touch the hips, so it also felt a bit like overtreatment. The doctor seemed to love the job and have pride in it, but I don’t think I’ll ever go there for surgery.
