I went there first because I found through my own research that the consultation fee is expensive, but that they supposedly give honest and professional consultations. The hospital facilities were clean and nice, and since this doctor specializes in implants, the implant display and 3D printer were impressive. I went at my reserved time, but I waited about 20 minutes, probably because the consultation before mine ran late. Before the consultation, I had a CT scan, and the equipment looked very expensive and professional. Before consulting with the director, I first met the manager, who was extremely kind and soft-spoken, which helped me relax. The manager listened in during the consultation with the director. The director’s consultation was based on the CT results, and it showed not only the facial bones but also the facial shape in detail, so it was easy to understand. The director explained things calmly and bluntly while pointing out the facts, and seemed honest and did not recommend anything unnecessary. Overall, the atmosphere was comfortable, and although it was mostly explanation rather than questions because I didn’t understand enough, I didn’t feel pressured. It felt a bit like being educated? Like meeting with a professor, lol. The director also seemed to realize that I wasn’t really there to say I would definitely have surgery, but rather to find out what my condition was. If you want someone who feels truly warm and gentle, you might be dissatisfied, but professionally I was very satisfied. After the consultation, the manager separately encouraged me to ask anything I was curious about. To be completely honest, any clinic manager would say their own director is the best, but she said she really trusted the director with her own care, and that made me trust him too. As expected, the cost was very high. They charge for two procedures what other clinics charge for three. There was no mention of an anesthesiologist, so I asked directly, and they said the director’s senior colleague participates in every surgery. The biggest disappointment was that there is no aftercare service. From the consultation alone, they professionally helped me understand what I wanted to know, and because I had built trust in the director’s skill from his blog posts and videos, I wanted to choose this hospital. But the price and the lack of aftercare are making me hesitate, haha. Still, I’m planning to put it on my shortlist when I make my final choice of hospital.
