It was an odd line. So I said I wanted to see the exact line and asked them to mark it carefully one more time, but I don't know what upset them, and they told me not to use the word "exact" with them and that even during surgery it is impossible to make an exact line. They said it would come out according to the line they were showing me now. Since they seemed offended, I apologized for upsetting them (why did I even apologize;;), but when I asked whether they would mark it more carefully during the surgery consultation, they said it would be the same as now. Then they said something like, if you and I don't have chemistry, maybe you shouldn't have surgery here. I just wanted to clear up the misunderstanding and see the line more carefully again, but they said if we kept talking here it would just keep turning into an argument, so it would be better if I just left.. What exactly did I do wrong to deserve that kind of treatment... It was such an unpleasant consultation experience. They marked the line with such little care, so what was the patient supposed to trust when deciding on surgery?
