My husband's eyes were really, really small. I mean, from my perspective they were okay.. but when other people looked at him, they seemed so small and sharp that even he could tell it bothered him a bit. After discussing it, we decided to do double eyelid surgery, and I looked up hospitals that were famous for men's eyes. Since I figured I'd be better at researching that, I went ahead and did it myself;; I went to consultations at three places, and we had the surgery at the hospital that looked at things in the most detail. He got hidden double-eyelid eye correction and a back canthoplasty, and the line came out thin but really natural and well done. What was really amazing was that even right after surgery, he didn't swell much and there was almost no bruising. It's been a little under a month, and I thought the swelling was almost all gone, but they said it was only 80% gone.. Once the rest of the swelling is gone, I think it'll look even better. Just because the line is thin doesn't mean there was no change in eye size. The difference before and after is definitely big, and as the eye shape became softer, it also looked bigger, so my husband is really satisfied too.
