I had cosmetic surgery for protruding earlobes, and even though the condition for posting on GKNN and BBT was to write about it, it was pretty expensive. The surgery itself wasn't very painful, and there was no major discomfort afterward either. But even though it was done with an incision, after about a year my ear shape went back to the original protruding shape again, and under the ear there were messy scar marks stitched in multiple directions. The results were much worse than I expected, so unless the protruding earlobes are extremely severe and not too noticeable, I personally do not recommend protruding earlobe surgery
