I can understand a 50,000 won fee for a non-face-to-face consultation, but a 60,000 won consultation with the director is absurdly short. They sounded annoyed just because I was asking things I didn’t know. The most shocking thing was that it smelled like cigarettes during the consultation. I know they’ll wash their hands and wear gloves for surgery, but I don’t want to be operated on by hands that have been smoking. They’ll be wearing masks, sure, but if I can smell cigarettes on every inhale and exhale, I end up picturing a surgery where my skin is opened up, so I’m passing on surgery.
