Quite a long time ago, I came here for a revision rhinoplasty, and the result was a tragedy. At the time my vacation was way too short, so I did a lot of online research and only went to consult at this clinic, which seemed the best, and booking there is my lifelong regret. They said they could remove the nose filler directly during surgery without dissolving it first (probably by scraping it out). Only ear cartilage was left inside my nose (the silicone had already been removed in the first surgery), and they said to use the septum, so we proceeded that way. After the sleep anesthesia started, I woke up when they were scraping out the filler. I could feel every scrape. My head felt foggy, but the pain was so extreme that death felt hundreds of times better. My nose was probably open. I said it hurt, but they must have thought I was still under anesthesia. Nothing was done, and when the pain got worse and worse to the point that I was almost convulsing, they said, “Oh, don’t talk,” and put in more medication to put me back under. I still remember all of that. But then I woke up from anesthesia again during the surgery. I had already had breast surgery under sleep anesthesia before too (I hate general anesthesia, so I only go where sleep anesthesia is possible), and I’ve had several surgeries, but waking up twice from anesthesia was probably an all-time record lol. They gave me more medication and put me back under. I felt all the pain. And because my nose was open, the area above my nose? felt cool when I breathed. Still, I didn’t make an issue of it. I just wanted my nose to turn out well. In the end, after one year, the silicone bent, and it became / shaped like this, and the tip of my nose dropped so low it looked like I had never even had surgery. No one knew I had surgery at that point. (After my third surgery now, when I went for a consultation for the third revision rhinoplasty, the director looked at it and immediately said the biggest problem was that the silicone was bent too diagonally / into that shape.) The doctor was kind, and the coordinator was absolutely terrible, and the place was packed with foreigners. Sigh..
