The result? It sagged horribly, ruined my skin, ruined the fit of my clothes, made me wear maternity clothes only, and led me to psychiatric care. But at Gangnam Yale Mi, the doctor had a very strict? solemn attitude and objectively explained that if something can’t be done, it can’t be done, that this kind of result isn’t possible, and that even with revision surgery some areas might improve here but other areas could collapse further. I really regret not coming here for my first surgery. It hurt deeply to realize how important it is to hear clearly that something cannot be done, even if the doctor seems a bit stern. The attitude of saying things like ‘I’m good at this, we’re good at this, it won’t sag~’ while not listening to the patient was not confidence at all, just narcissistic lying. The downside is that the facility is a little old, and the hospital was closed during this Chuseok holiday, so surgery during the holiday wasn’t possible. Even so, the price is reasonable, and I trusted the way they explained honestly what is and isn’t possible, as well as possible side effects, without hiding anything, so if I have time later I’d like to get revision surgery here. The doctor is definitely not the friendly, gentle type, so some people may find him scary, but in terms of fully explaining foreseeable side effects and aftereffects, I think this place is more trustworthy than others that just talk nicely, mess you up, and then wash their hands of you.
