I had nose surgery with a student discount and came back after the splint was removed, and it turned out better than expected! I think that helped me stay level-headed and decide without getting too tempted. I didn't want osteotomy because I heard it can make you unable to breathe, but they said they wouldn't do anything excessive and went ahead with it. The bridge has 4.5 mm silicone, and the tip used a septal extension plus donated rib, hump correction, and osteotomy. I was told the tip would have no sensation, but it wasn't completely gone. After the packing came out, my sense of smell and taste came back 100%, so I finally felt relieved. Because I sat up except when sleeping and kept doing ice compresses up to my forehead often, there was no blood pooling! (If you have a lot of runny nose, please take medicine for it.) I didn't expect much because it was a crooked nose, so I just did it thinking let's make it a little better, and I'm so satisfied. I hope the swelling goes down quickly and I can wear makeup soon ㅜㅜ I was worried because it wasn't always on my shortlist for hospital visits, so I'm writing this review right away in case it helps someone like me.
