Because of complications from contouring surgery, I had scar-tissue injections and extracorporeal shock-wave therapy about four times. My expressions looked unnatural, and my face felt as if it had been covered in lumps of clay. My cheeks felt heavy, and were more uneven than before surgery, with steps, severe sagging, and so on. My original goal was simply for this heavy, stuffy feeling to disappear, but in the end I did not recover completely; it improved only very slightly. The injections hurt too much and caused bruising, so I do not plan to continue. I am not sure whether it was worth the money.
