Additional note: in the end, I had the foreign material removal surgery done somewhere other than Sejin. There were a few reasons. 1) They said they would melt everything without checking what the foreign material was. Sejin said it could be dissolved with an Acu laser, but they didn't even know what material was inside or check it, and said they would dissolve it. Later, I checked at several other places and found that some materials can't be treated with Acu, and what I had inside when they opened me up for removal was one of those materials. The hospital I eventually chose first made a small opening to see whether Acu would work, so at low cost they could check whether the laser was usable ...
