Eye Surgery review at Heoeun (허은) · 2019-07-15

I had double eyelid surgery by incision method on January 30 last year. I learned about this place because it was recommended by my mother’s acquaintance, and the facility is small and shabby. It feels a lot like a neighborhood internal medicine clinic. But the reason I don’t regret having surgery here is because the doctor and the manager were truly honest. Before I had surgery here, I went to another plastic surgery clinic for a consultation, and they recommended double eyelids, ptosis correction, front canthoplasty, and rear canthoplasty. A friend who had surgery there turned out really well, so of course I was tempted. But while consulting with the doctor here, when I said I wanted front canthoplasty and rear canthoplasty, the doctor got angry;.. He said my eyes were already opened enough, so why do more, and that doing more here would be overcorrection He also said that with eye-opening strength this good, why would I even do ptosis correction,, At that moment I think I really trusted him He was very quick-tempered, but I felt he was a sincere person I really wanted front canthoplasty, so I booked incision + front canthoplasty, but on the actual surgery day, after the incision was done and he looked at it, he said the incision had already opened the front enough, so front canthoplasty wasn’t necessary, and he took the front canthoplasty fee off. I don’t feel the facility or aftercare is especially good, but I really like the doctor’s mindset. He only does the parts that truly need surgery. The disappointing part was that he gave local anesthesia (they do not give sleep anesthesia it’s a local area, why would you do sleep anesthesia, he got mad) The anesthesia wore off in the middle and I thought I was going to die from the pain But I held it in tight because I was afraid if I frowned it would get ruined The nurse also said I tolerate pain well ^^,,, Ah, my eyes turned out naturally and nicely I know a lot of people around me who had double eyelid surgery, but mine seem the most natural
