Last year I had nose surgery with silicone and ear cartilage. The manager was kind and the doctor was kind too. But they said they don't do sedation anesthesia for nose surgery here, which gave me pause, but I went ahead with local anesthesia only. It really hurts. Because it hurts so much, I recommend that people who don't want to feel severe pain have their surgery at a hospital that does sedation anesthesia.
