When I had the consultation, I first met the doctor in charge of consultations, and then the doctor who would handle the surgery. It felt like the order was: consultation > consultation with a specialist > meeting the consultation doctor again. Personally, when I talked with the consultation doctor(?) I felt extremely drained, and although it wasn’t coercion, it had a sales-like feeling that was hard for me. Still, when I consulted with the doctor who would perform the surgery, I felt reassured and decided on the date.. I liked that they kindly pointed out which line would suit me and explained it. The other staff members responded well too! If you came with family or friends, they told you that waiting in the recovery room was okay. I went into the surgery without much expectation, but it ended without major problems.
