The doctor listens well to the patient, explains things in a gentle way, and encourages conversation. Since I was in high school, I think I went there in a rather absent-minded state, but he never cut me off or forced his own opinion; he quietly listened, laid out possible options, and then went through the process of discussing and choosing among them. I felt that the doctor was the kindest person there, even more than the staff outside.
