I had double eyelid incision surgery, and because I had a lot of fat on my eyelids, they said it was more precisely an excision? And for the epicanthoplasty they said it was some kind of magic epicanthoplasty, so they said it would be done without obvious signs. In the end, I was like... did I really pay money for this surgery. I think the regret is that I didn't shop around enough. My eyes are uneven for sure, and only when I force them wide open do they look like the level of unevenness a normal person might have? One side is properly fixed and the other side feels a bit loosened, and even after I told them after surgery, they kept showing me the mirror and telling me to open my eyes straight. But are eyes only eyes when they are opened straight? I don't even go around tensing my eyes that much, and they were already uneven then...? And there's a difference when I close my eyes too. They kept showing me magazines and insisting that everyone's eyes are uneven to that degree, so I just gave up. The epicanthoplasty also left a bit of a scar. But it's not very noticeable. Still, my eyes are definitely bigger and they are not sausage eyes, so I just live with it after giving up to some extent.
