First of all, the doctor really did a great job with the consultation. He explained things professionally while drawing diagrams, so it felt trustworthy. I had consultations at several places, but in the end I decided here after seeing the results of a friend's surgery.. The hospital facilities just feel like an old hospital. Right after surgery, my eyes were so swollen that the doctor took extra care of me. Because I was so swollen, for about a week my eyes were turned upward? and I had eye irritation. But the hospital gave me eye drops separately and called again a week later to ask if I was okay, which I appreciated. It's been about a year since the surgery now, and the swelling is completely gone and it looks totally natural. I left the line height completely to the doctor, but part of me wishes I had made it a little higher, though seeing that nobody knows I had double-eyelid surgery makes me satisfied. It seems they prefer a natural line over a flashy one. But the line is a little asymmetrical. That actually makes it seem even more like a natural double eyelid, so I'm satisfied in my own way.
