The hospital facilities were clean, and both the consultation director and the doctor were kind, but the doctor’s taste was apparently really for very wide-open eyes, because he recommended epicanthoplasty even though other clinics said it wasn’t necessary. When I asked whether I could skip it, he said that if I didn’t want epicanthoplasty, then I would at least have to do upper canthoplasty. So I’ll probably have the surgery somewhere else.
