I arrived about two hours earlier than my consultation appointment, but I was seen right away. There was no one waiting, and it felt quiet and not crowded. I first had a consultation with the doctor, and he looked at my face with the mask off and examined my eyes carefully from above and below. I was especially surprised that among all my consultations so far, he was the first to notice that I have a downward-pointing lower eyelid. He said that with my current eyes, neither a medium height nor a high height would work, and only a low height would be possible. But the height he set didn’t look extremely low, and I liked it, so that was fine. He recommended non-incision and did not recommend canthoplasty. He didn’t mention eye-opening correction. He said the non-incision method would be three stitches, so I think it was a short-loop non-incision method. I liked that he said they would do only the minimum in a conservative way. And while looking at my mother who came with me, he mentioned sagging skin. (He was not forcing surgery.) After the doctor’s consultation, I had a consultation with the nurse, who showed me post-op photos. She said anesthesia would be local only, and aftercare would always be available. (If repeated loosening leads to incision surgery, the anesthesia fee is separate.) There is no pressure to book. The consultation fee is 5,000 won.
