Before the surgery, I had already been looking into this hospital for years, and I really wanted calf muscle reduction, so I first had a phone consultation. After being told that the muscle wouldn't recur and that the minimum size could be reduced by more than 3 cm, I went in for an in-person consultation. At the in-person consultation, I was told again that the calf gastrocnemius would shrink by more than 3 cm, and because they said free AS would be possible if the gastrocnemius didn't shrink enough, I scheduled the surgery within a month after the consultation based on the doctor's words. But after the surgery, mine reduced by only 1 cm to 1.5 cm, not 3 cm, and if anything my legs feel heavier and swell more than before the surgery... Even when taking progress photos after surgery, unlike before the surgery, they had me put both heels together for the photos, and I also felt that for a clear comparison, the photos should be taken in the same stance as my feet were before surgery.. Anyway, I really can't feel much difference in size reduction.. After surgery, the calf muscle bulge is still visible in the middle and the upper part went in, and on one leg the upper part that had gone in feels like it filled back out with the gastrocnemius, so I'm checking the progress month by month... At every follow-up they keep telling me to stretch well, and I really do stretch every single day without missing a day after surgery, but I'm not satisfied with the condition of my legs.. I think my expectations were too high... My opinion is subjective, so please don't take it too seriously.
