When I decided to get double eyelid surgery, I had set a few standards. 1. Is it close to home (There wasn't really anyone who could pick me up or come with me, so I needed to be able to dash home by myself.) 2. Does it have many and varied cases, regardless of whether the reviews are good or bad (Plastic surgery is basically a matter of luck anyway, and honestly, since we're all human, it can't be successful every single time.. If there are many and varied cases, I thought my own chances might be even a little higher.) 3. Does it avoid overtreatment (I went to another place before, and when I said I only wanted my eyes done, they kept saying I should do my nose too and kept pushing reservations even though I didn't want that. I wanted a place that would only explain what I needed.) 4. Is it a private clinic (Mass-production-style places seem okay for procedures only.. For surgery, I was scared it would come out too identical. That's just my personal opinion.) 5. Is there CCTV in the operating room (I happened to watch a movie with substitute surgery in it, got anxious, and looked up a ton of related articles, and apparently there are quite a few hospitals like that.) I went around to gather quotes because there were lots of reviews on plastic surgery cafes and similar sites. The explanation was detailed, but they said I should also do epicanthoplasty and eye correction along with the inner corner surgery, so the estimate went up.. Honestly, I didn't want to go that far, and it seemed different from the direction I wanted, so I went somewhere else.
