It’s been about 5 years and 3 months. Back in high school, I begged my mom and got my eyes and nose done here as a graduation present. I said I liked flashy eyes and asked for a bigger crease, but they ended up giving me a hidden double eyelid, and I was upset as a young kid so I asked for an AS correction. When I had the surgery, a bunch of people who seemed like doctors-in-training crowded in to look at my eyes too lol I wasn’t told anything about that beforehand and I just thought that was normal back then. Now that time has passed, I have severe scarring on my eyes, and one eye has developed lagophthalmos so I sleep with my eyes open. The asymmetry is really bad and the crease is completely wrinkled. Even when I went to well-known hospitals in Seoul, they just sighed and said my eyes have no answer. They said I may never be able to close my eyes fully for the rest of my life. They asked how much tissue must have been removed for it to turn out like this haha. It cost over 5 million won too. My nose is crooked, and there was ear cartilage inserted into the tip, but it keeps making a clicking sound. I paid over 4 million won and had a revision in Seoul one year ago. Even right after the first surgery, the bulbous nose correction didn’t happen at all, and unless I said something, people around me didn’t even notice. And I really don’t understand what gave them the confidence to cut the line with a laser and say there would be less scarring and swelling. Even if I ask doctors in Gangnam, they all say what am I talking about, and that in 30 years of medical practice they’ve never heard of cutting like that with a laser. They say the laser is what caused more scarring. Because of this, I suffer every day and am stressed to the point of wanting to die. I recently called the clinic, and the front-desk coordinator said she had never seen a case like mine before and that each doctor has a different surgical method. If 99 out of 100 doctors do the incision with a scalpel and only here they use a laser, I can prove it with my own eyes. They told me to come in, but what exactly can they do for me? Can they make my eyes close? My scars are multiple lines and it’s seriously bad, so would they even treat it? I later found out the doctor had been an OB-GYN specialist before moving into plastic surgery. Please do your research properly before going, seriously.
