I got Botox. The desk staff seemed to be the consultation manager, and they looked a bit older. There was no separate consultation room, and they did a brief consultation(?) in front of other customers. The person doing the consultation kept pushing me to get filler too, saying they’d take responsibility, which felt a bit coercive. I said I only wanted Botox, but they said, ‘Aw, come on! I’ll help you with the payment!’ which was kind but left a bad feeling. I showed my card, and when they mentioned that VAT was separate, they swiped the card and even signed for me. I went into the treatment room, saw the director’s face, frowned a few times, got the Botox, and there was no consultation about the Botox itself. In the middle, when a nurse said, ‘So you’re not getting filler,’ the director said, ‘Why not?’ I thought even if I were getting filler, I should have had a face-to-face consultation with the director to decide whether to get it or not, but I guess that’s not how it works here. I don’t know if they only have one type of Botox, but I got it without any explanation of which Botox it was. ( I feel stupid for not saying before they swiped my card that I wanted to decide after consulting with the director.) In the end, I have no intention of visiting this hospital again.
