I had surgery on the whole face, and just before I went into the operating room, my mom and the consultation director were arguing over negotiation, and I heard the director say, 'Ma'am, at that price, industrial silicone, not medical-grade silicone, could be used.' Then I went into the operating room. I am the same person who wrote a review here saying that because of the shape and surgical scar, my satisfaction with the surgery was only 60%. I read the reviews here thoroughly, and after reading one person's consultation review, I saw a review saying, 'Among other doctors, not a single one recommended a brow lift, but only this doctor recommended a strange surgery, so I couldn't trust them and didn't choose this hospital. However, the consultation was very satisfying because the doctor took a lot of time to explain everything in detail.' I want to share my own experience and consultation as well. I had the surgery when I was 20, and during the consultation the doctor recommended a brow lift. I remember being told something like, 'Because the patient is of northern stock, the skin over the visible eyelid is relatively thick. If the eyelid is thick, it looks dull. But the upper eyelid skin is thin. I recommend this to preserve as much of that thin skin as possible and remove the thicker skin. But it's not essential. Still, by the time you're in your 50s, you'll end up needing a brow lift anyway because the eyelid elasticity will have loosened.' Like that. I thought, just like the reviewer, aren't they just trying to sell me something unnecessary to make more money? Do I really need to add more cost? So I didn't add it. But now, at 31, I hate that dull-looking eyelid so much, and I really hate that my eyes often become in-line again when they swell. This doctor is by far the best among the 30 or so plastic surgery clinics I have consulted with up to this age. (The surgical skill itself can sometimes have mistakes or be less than perfect. I also ended up with two holes in my eyelid and one raised scar from double eyelid incision surgery. But when it comes to analyzing the overall harmony and proportions of the face for beauty, finding the problem and its cause, and developing the solution, I honestly think this doctor is number one in Korea.) If you consult with this doctor, I recommend getting the surgeries they suggest whenever possible.
