Ugh, I'm writing a review after spending over an hour and a half at RU for a revision rhinoplasty consultation. In the end, I didn't decide to have surgery at RU, but if I had had enough money, I think I definitely would have gotten it done there. I knew Dr. Kim Hyun-ju was famous for nose surgery, and the fact that she favors autologous rib cartilage suited me well, so even though there weren't many reviews for RU Plastic Surgery, I decided to have my revision rhinoplasty consultation there first. What was really good about the consultation was that she was the only one who recommended things while considering my facial proportions, and she confidently talked about the difficult nose left in bad shape by my first surgery, saying that it wouldn't be easy at other hospitals. During the consultation, I felt, ah, this person is really full of confidence that comes from experience. She said the autologous rib cartilage surgery would be done under general anesthesia, and as a scaredy-cat I was a little nervous about general anesthesia,, haha While I was waiting, there was no one else waiting at the same time as me, which was nice, and the hospital facilities were almost hotel-level, and the recovery room was a private room, so everything was good. The consultation manager was kind, and what was unique was that she stood next to me during the doctor's consultation and listened along while figuring things out. I also liked how she organized the surgery plan and estimate. When I said the price was burdensome, she offered a discounted price and tried to match it as much as possible (though I'm a total broke loserㅠㅠ) Even though the consultation fee was 20,000 won here, it was good enough that I didn't regret it. But I was surprised the consultation was free. Even places with older equipment and shabby facilities charge consultation feesㅠㅠ I sincerely recommend that people shopping around for revision rhinoplasty (+ if you have the money) really get a consultation here.
