In the end, I felt that no matter how cheap a factory-style clinic is, I shouldn't have surgery there. It was so hard to meet the doctor. I also had truly difficult side effects during recovery, but the center treated me like a difficult patient, which was heartbreaking. I kept thinking I should have gone to a private clinic... Because the clinic is large, there were some kind people, but there were definitely others who weren't. I had my progress checked by a doctor other than the one who operated on me. When I said I was suffering so much from these side effects, they said, "But you signed the surgical consent form, didn't you?"
