I made a same-day reservation nearby and went right over, and luckily I was able to meet the director. I had a consultation in this order: manager - director - manager. The manager first asked things like, 'This looks like eyes that need these parts done, didn't another hospital tell you to do these and those too?' and so on. The director was extremely thorough, decisive, and kind. He spent the longest time on the line among the places I've been to. But there was a bit of pressure to make a reservation.
