The consultation director and the head doctor were both a little older. Like in other reviews, it seems double eyelid surgery is done only with the incision method. But they said the method is a little different. They said the skin is still incised, but here they make the line the way a natural double eyelid is formed by stitching with 20 to 30 stitches, so it looks natural. So they said there would really be almost no scar or swelling. They said to have surgery on Saturday and go back to work or school on Monday.. The consultation was really long, and they kept explaining again and again whenever there was something I didn’t understand. And what was unusual was that they did not tell me the price at the first consultation. When I asked, they told me it would be better to study a bit more about double eyelid surgery before coming in again (I had honestly told them this was my second clinic visit). I have asymmetrical eyes with only one double eyelid, and among the four clinics I’ve been to so far, this was the only place that said we should operate on only one side. They said the other side wouldn’t become a bigger eye even if we did it.. The cost wasn’t exactly half, but they said both sides would be 1.5 million to 1.7 million won, and for me, who was thinking that if it was around 1.0 to 1.2 million won I’d do it here, and even if it was more than that I’d have to consider it, the price was almost half, so I liked that. The anesthesia is local anesthesia, but unlike other places, they use a machine instead of an injection, so even the anesthesia itself takes about 10 or 20 minutes, they said. (So it doesn’t hurt.) They also said the surgery time would take about 1 hour and 30 minutes (to stitch the 20 to 30 stitches mentioned above. They also said they use a thinner thread than other places for that reason. They said this was the only place that uses this thread.) Since I’m only having one side done, I’m expecting it won’t take that long. The facilities are definitely more outdated than other plastic surgery clinics, but I felt like this was the kind of clinic I had been looking for, so I decided on it. In conclusion, I’m planning to have the surgery here either this month or next month.
