During the consultation, they seemed somewhat professional, and the director seemed confident too, so I booked surgery that same day. The manager kept saying it was such a simple procedure and that I could do it on the weekend and go straight back to work, but this is absolutely not a simple surgery. They're cutting under the eye, so how could it be simple.. The bulging fat under my eyes was definitely gone and improved, but I suffered from diplopia side effects for a while. At the follow-up visit, the director said it was just my focus being off during recovery, but it really was diplopia.. I felt that the response before surgery and the response when I was suffering side effects after surgery were completely different, so my trust dropped sharply. Even when I said I had diplopia, they said it would be fine after a week. After a week, they said it would take about two more weeks. After two weeks, they said it would take another month.. haha Still, after looking around for other people with diplopia side effects, the majority said it takes time but it does recover, so I just shut my heart to the hospital and endured it on my own. After about one or two months it became completely comfortable, but even now, one year later, there is still a slight diplopia feeling when looking down to the left. And when I looked it up, it seems this hospital has quietly had reviews about diplopia side effects too... haha The lower-eyelid surgery itself was satisfying apart from the side effects.. If I went back, I think I would do it at another hospital.
