I got a consultation for full nose removal. The doctor seemed confident and said he could restore the nostril shape roundly just the way I wanted. There is Megaderm on the bridge, and he said he is good at scraping it off. My nasal tip is a total mess: after surgery, instead of looking better than before, it actually became blunt with scar tissue and started looking like a bulbous nose. He said if it is removed, the current scar tissue will be eliminated, and the sharpening from that plus the blunting from it lowering will net out to zero, so the tip will feel like my current nose rather than my original nose. He also said the nostril shape at the tip can be shaped without removing the septal cartilage or tying the cartilage together.
