The doctor is an older, blunt man, and the counseling director looks like a neighborhood auntie who doesn't dress up at all. So I kept thinking, what makes them think they can judge other people's looks and give consultations? They were authoritative during the consultation. For lip reconstructive surgery, they act confident that only they do it well, so they charge a 30,000 won consultation fee. I paid because they charge for the consultation and thought it might be different, but there was nothing different from other hospitals. I even thought they'd at least do one more test, but it was just a plain consultation. Their surgery fee is also quoted way higher than other places, and there are no discounts at all. It feels kind of unpleasant, but they don't do lip surgery that often, so it is true that there aren't many alternatives, so I'm considering whether to have the surgery.
