Even one month after surgery, only one side of the fat grafted area was still puffy, so I contacted the hospital, and they said it would go down with time. I thought the swelling was just going down slowly and waited, but now, 3 years later, a hard nodule has formed in that fat grafted area that used to be puffy. Was it overinjection, or was it because the fat graft was placed in the under-eye area where fat tends to clump easily?
