In the doctor’s view, non-incisional hidden double eyelids + epicanthoplasty alone would be enough. (He said I have pseudo ptosis = no need for ptosis correction.) Ptosis correction is for people whose eyelid-opening strength is weak, but he said my eyelid-opening strength is on the strong side. Later I checked again and the left eye is a little weaker, but he said that is absolutely not enough reason to switch away from the non-incisional method. I asked whether my eyes are good for surgery, and he said they are a very good case. (Good meaning easy to operate on.) He said it would be very convenient if everyone were like me..ㅎ My facial contours are also on the prettier side, and he told me to thank my parents ㅋ When I asked about removing eye fat, he said my eyes are not the kind that need it, and that what he was more dissatisfied with was my nose rather than my eyes. It was something I didn’t know myself, but he said my nose has a hump and a bulbous tip. (Should I look into nose surgery again..) When I said I only wanted something like nose filler, he said it would be fine to try filler first and decide later. He drew out the line for me, and when I asked whether double-eyelid surgery might make the space between my eyes and eyebrows too close, he said it wasn’t something to worry about. (He said it would only be about 1 mm closer.) I also asked about side effects, and he said plastic surgeons first learn eye surgery, so it’s the simplest and nothing to worry about. Other clinics actually recommend other procedures too, but here the director said the ptosis correction everyone else had recommended was something I didn’t need after all, which increased my trust. (He said it would actually cause overcorrection if I did it.) After that, the manager came in and we talked, and she said she had worked at a large hospital too and at other clinics as well, but if I did it here I wouldn’t regret it, and she was confident that 80 to 90 percent would get it done here. (There were some omitted parts, but overall it was a satisfying consultation.)
