I went there through a recommendation from an acquaintance. A friend who had buried double eyelid surgery there 10 years ago still hasn’t had it loosen and is satisfied, so I remembered the clinic from a past recommendation and, after comparing consultations with another clinic, trusted it because it’s a one-doctor clinic where the surgeon operates alone and the consultation was kind and detailed. I had a history of failing at a factory-style clinic and having to undo it, so I liked a place with fewer people and not much advertising. And Director Choi Jung-ho was incredibly handsome, and he was kind too! When I went after seeing his eyes on YouTube, my monolid eyes had changed quite a bit, and when I asked, I was told he recently had buried double eyelid surgery done naturally and well by another director at the Ansan branch of DiO, so it didn’t look like double eyelid surgery, which made me trust it even more. Honestly, I had several other clinics scheduled for consultation the next day, but the feeling of matching well during this consultation was so strong that I immediately put down a deposit and, after thinking about it, booked the surgery date in just 30 minutes. It’s now been two weeks since my surgery; the swelling hasn’t gone down completely yet, but people around me keep saying it looks natural and turned out well. Sometimes when I look in the mirror, I still think my old face was better and that it looks strange, so my eyes still feel unnatural, but I’m satisfied. One thing I regret is that the staff didn’t send any advance guidance text or contact me, so I had to reach out first, and even after surgery I was given a sheet explaining aftercare, but they weren’t the type to explain everything in detail, so I had to contact them first and take care of everything myself.
