I consulted about a contracted nose and second revision surgery. The male director was kind and gave a detailed consultation. But when I consulted with the female surgeon, she made the surgery sound too difficult and said that if I went in for surgery in the morning, I'd come out late in the afternoon (and that too under sedation). She said I definitely had to use autologous costal cartilage and even mentioned hip dermis, but at the end she changed her story to donor rib cartilage. She also said harvesting the autologous cartilage would take 1 hour 30 minutes, so I decided not to have the surgery.
