I had a consultation for nose implant removal and revision surgery. I heard the director gave off a sloth-like vibe, and that was exactly right. Instead, they explained things slowly and in detail. They gave professional case-by-case consultations and never said one option was definitely better than another. (Though they did say that for cosmetic purposes, a silicone implant is better once.) The surgery cost was reasonable. The manager was also standard and neat, and I was satisfied that they explained the price and schedule clearly. I’m thinking of getting one more consultation before deciding. ======================== Surgery review I was planning to remove the silicone, but ended up doing a simple replacement. To make the nose tip pretty, it would have to be done open (using septal cartilage), but I was reluctant about an open approach and additional manipulation of the nose, so I chose a simple replacement (closed). They took photos before surgery and gave a thorough consultation. The surgery took 1 to 1.5 hours. There was no special sterilization before anesthesia, and I assume it was done after anesthesia. I was surprised by how much bruising and swelling there was, but the problems I wanted fixed (silicone showing through, crooked insertion) improved, so I’m satisfied. After staying in the recovery room for a bit, I had a post-op consultation with the director, heard the precautions at the front desk, got my prescription, and left. Because it was closed, they said I wouldn’t need any follow-up visits. I only had taping done, and they said I could come back to have it removed after 3-4 days, or remove it myself at home. I’m not someone who pays much attention to hospital facilities, but the guardian who came with me was shocked by the building and facilities. It may vary by person, but by my standards it was clean. (It doesn’t feel luxurious or high-end. It’s not a very large clinic.) I’ll add photo reviews once a little more time has passed :)
