The doctor is quite old, and being conservative, he reacted like, “Why bother?” to eye correction surgery. Because he’s been doing surgery for a long time, he had a very confident, expert aura, and the consultant at the desk felt almost like a semi-professional too. But somehow it felt like a place more men go to than women.
