The hospital felt a lot like a regular internal medicine clinic. Anyway, this is just my personal opinion, but I got the strong feeling more than at other hospitals that patients are seen as cases. They weren't cold, but they weren't especially friendly either. At the same time, they didn't force me into the surgery method they thought was right, and they didn't tell me not to do it either. They talked about the positive results of surgery, but they also mentioned the negative outcomes. They showed me a lot of before-and-after photos too. They explained things well with professional knowledge, and they answered my questions in a way I could understand. When I didn't understand something, they would sometimes write it down on paper to make it clear. But it was a place that left my head in a mess. The consultation with the manager was very short because she only said the essentials, and I asked how people with cases like mine usually do it. The manager said they couldn't say because everyone's standards are different. Other managers usually say things like, in most cases it's like this, but this was the first time I had a manager say they couldn't tell me and that it was my own choice.
