The consultation was booked quickly to fit the schedule. The staff were friendly. The doctor felt a bit colder than on YouTube. He gave several explanations, but because he was wearing a mask and speaking quietly, it was hard to catch everything. He showed surgical photos, but said there weren't any that matched my case exactly. That made me wonder whether the patient is supposed to imagine the result. It was under-eye fat repositioning, but because of aging, the cheek muscle and fat are sagging, so he said they could cut around the lower eyelid area, open the skin, and do the surgery, and that it could deliver results returning me completely to my younger days without scars. He said it wasn't lower blepharoplasty either. He confidently said that he was the only one who could finish it without scars. When I asked again because it was unfamiliar, he often said things like, "I already explained that earlier," in a somewhat condescending way. If I could understand it all at once, then I'd be the medical staff, wouldn't I? If a doctor wants to make money, they should probably be good at selling themselves, but I felt resistant toward the way he seemed to look down on patients.
