The implant poked slightly through the inside of my nose, so I went in for a removal consultation. Right now I have silicone + ear cartilage + septal cartilage, and in a previous surgery the doctor inserted Medpor without my consent. They said the implant breaking through means there is inflammation, and that is causing contracture... They recommended removing the silicone + Medpor, leaving my ear cartilage + septal cartilage as they are, and harvesting ear cartilage to lower the nasal tip. The director explained things calmly and asked if I had any questions. The protruding implant was only 1-2 mm, so visually it was hard to see unless you were lying down in bed, but they put a cotton swab in to look, and they pushed it in too deep, which was really uncomfortable. In the end they still couldn't see it.. After the consultation, I spoke with the manager, and she asked a bunch of unnecessary things that other clinics hadn't asked, so I didn't really like her. The surgical method is what I want, but the surgery cost was higher than I expected, so I think I need to think about it some more.. ㅜ
