More than 15 years ago, I had rhinoplasty with Gore-Tex and ear cartilage, but recently I’ve been feeling foreign-body discomfort and a slight constriction, so I decided to remove it. Since it’s an old implant, I’m also worried about deformation and absorption, and with the growing preference these days for a more natural nose line, I’m planning to remove it first and then monitor the condition rather than go straight into a revision surgery. I’m also curious how the skin and cartilage have changed, and since so much time has passed, there may be scar tissue or tissue deformation, so I want to proceed only after careful consultation at a specialized clinic. I want to look more natural now, without any foreign-body sensation.
